We are off....

So we got up at 4am to get all our last minutes things packed and ready to go cuz we had a shuttle picking us up at 4:45am. Our flight to LA was at 6:20am. The shuttle was on time, we had everything that we needed. Had a nice peaceful ride to the airport...there was no one on the road that early got to San Diego Airport American terminal. Had to get one of those carts b/c we had 4 bags plus my dress and his tux...waited in line for 20 min or so....had plenty of time until they told us that we were at the wrong terminal. I guess when are just flying to LA you have to go to the commuter terminal...which they neglected to tell us anywhere on our paperwork. You can't take a cab to the terminal so we had to wait for the bus. By this time it's already 5:30 - 5:45...by the time the bus picked us up and we got to the correct terminal it was already 6am so we missed our flight. They had another flight leaving at 8:30 which would of still given us enough time to catch our flight to Maui, except we were on stand by. Thankfully the guy that check us in made sure we got on the flight so it all turned out fine, but it was a hell of a start to our trip!! We had a pretty good flight...neither of us could sleep so he read and wrote a few letters while I listened to music and watched a movie!!
