Hawaii day 1!!

Our first plan was to go straight to the winery after we got our rental car. The night before we left we got news from our reception place that they weren't going to have live entertainment on the night of the wedding. One of the main reason's why we picked Mulligan's was for the live entertainment so needless to say we were both pretty pissed. So instead of going to the winery we checked into our hotel and went straight to Mulligan's. They said we could get a D.J. for 3 hours or they played house music after the dinner entertainment was done at 8:30pm. The main reason why we wanted to go there was not only to see the place, but also to see what their "house" music was. It turned out that we were both happy with just having the house music play. We were able to talk with the Manager and we could still have our songs played so we were both very happy with that! We met a very nice couple, Greg, and Linda, who bought us our first drink! so we stayed, had another drink and some great appetizers! We were both so upset about the music the night before and everything turned out great! It so hard when you have never been to the place to make the right decision!
After Mulligan's we went over to the beach for the first time! The water was so warm, if I would of had my suit on I would of jumped right in. Dave had his on so he did and I got half went, but so worth it! We learned that we needed to leave towels in the car, just in case!!! ;-) We only stayed for a little while, and got some pictures. On the way back to the hotel we stopped at the grocery store and got a few things, went back and got ready to go to dinner! We were just going to walk somewhere, but as we were walking watching the sunset we realized the closest restaurant was pretty far away so we walked back to the car and drove to the first place we came to!! I can't remember the name but they had $2 taco's...very yummy steak ones..Dave got a sandwich, but the service sucked so we didn't go back! We were both so tired and had a long day the next day so we were in bed by 8:30pm!! But what a great first day in Hawaii!! Enjoy the pictures ;-)
