Road Trip

Saturday we got a call from Dave's Mom letting us know that his Aunt was up in LA for business and if it wasn't that far if we wanted to go meet her for dinner. We had no plans and we hadn't driven to LA yet except for a Bulls game so we called his Aunt Mariclare got the details of where she was and we were off! It took us about 2 hours to get there because we hit some major traffic on the 101, but the way back was a breeze...it only took us an hour 20!!! When we got to the hotel to pick her up we were waiting and we saw 2 motorcycle cops come down the hill with a pick-up truck following that had a camera set up on it and then this weird looking car, and 2 more motorcycle cops. At first we thought it was maybe a movie being filmed, but we're pretty sure it was just a new car commercial!! It was pretty cool, maybe we'll be in it!!!! ;-) We had a very nice dinner with his Aunt at a mall called The Grove. The mall was huge and there were so many people, it was crazy. We ate at a very nice Steak house...it was yummy! It was great to see her and catch up!!! ;-) The first picture is of the Hollywood sign. It was really foggy so it's not clear, but we did see it!!!!
