Cali's Owie

So about 2 months ago after Dave came back from a run with Cali we noticed that she had a good limp. We thought she just pulled something so we figured we would try and keep her off it as much as possible and hopefully it goes away. Well it didn't and the swelling was pretty bad so we took her into the vet. She has either a hair line fracture or a pulled ligament in her wrist. Poor girl ;-( So they wrapped it up for her and put her on anti-inflammatory. They referred us to a specialist that can make a brace for her till it heals but it cost $150 to just get in the door and I'm guess the brace cost anywhere from $700 to $1000. Dave found a vet online that had a similar looking brace. The only difference is it isn't fitted exactly to her, but it only cost $80 so we are going to try it for a month and see if it helps heal her leg. Our little girl is getting old ;-(
