A few weeks ago we were getting some really cool sunrises...this is one of them!! Not a bad thing to see when you open your door for the first time!! ;-)
2 weeks ago we had left to go do some xmas shopping and we noticed this coyote running down Pio Pico (the street right down from our house) so we followed it to make sure it didn't get hit by a car, go on the highway or go towards any kids. It hung out at the property right next to the highway eating something in their backyard..while he or she was doing that we called animal services to see if there was something we should do or they could do because it had a hurt back leg..they said they'd call us back. After it was done eating it went towards the back more and we could no longer see it so we just waited another few minutes and it came back up towards the street and went around like it was going to go on the highway, but it went down the side of it. We watched it go and I just hope it found it's pack and is ok!! Animal services called back and said there wasn't anything they could do anyways, but it was good to call and let them know. Crazy that it was out during the day!! The things you will see in California!! ;-)
