Anza Borrego Desert Camping!

For Jenn's birthday she wanted to do a little camping!! The desert is about 2 hours from our place. It was a nice drive besides all the rain! Thankfully when we got to Anza Borrego it wasn't raining, but we weren't too sure how long it would last. This place is beautiful. We had an awesome rainbow on the way there!! Don't think we could ever go in the summer....it would get crazy hot. Thankfully it didn't get as cold as we had thought...it was chilly but not freezing!!! We had a great time, but there is nothing like coming home and taking a shower after a weekend out in the wilderness!!

Jenn is on a gluten free diet and this is my first gluten free cake!! Didn't turn out too bad...tastes like a brownie!

These little things annoyed and taunted the dogs all weekend! They were very brave and would come just close enough to where they knew the dogs couldn't reach and then would run away. Saturday night I was making s'mores and had the crackers and chocolate laying on a rock and the little shit tried to take a cracker while I was sitting right next to them.
Corn nuts anyone?!?!
